Cell Phone Games: Yay or Nay?

A long while ago (okay, so it was only about five years ago) cell phone games consisted of that time-honored classic, “Snake” and, perhaps, a version of the African board game Mancala (I think on my phone it was called Bantumi).  Now, as cell phones with color screens become more common, more and more game developers are making games specifically conceived for the cell phone format.

What does everyone feel about the occasional smattering of cell phone game reviews on I Eat Games?  They are relatively cheap (generally under $7) and generally have the lovely distinction of being playable with one finger.  I love that.

More games can never be a bad thing. I say go for it, but be warned, there are way more crappy games on the cell phone than good ones. So you may want to pick your games wisely. One I really enjoyed was Diner Dash. Good luck!

I also enjoyed Diner Dash on my cell phone. It was portable, small, and an okay alternative to the PC version. I can’t wait until it is on my DS. I hope that will happen one day.
